Where to Find the Best Steaks in Perth

Planning the perfect steak dinner involves devoting adequate time to your side dishes too. Served with a simple salad, a steak can be a lean, nutritious supper, while adding pools of sauce and mountains of fries makes the whole thing much more decadent.

A great steak is not just about timing and technique. It's about understanding what each individual cut offers, it's about finding the best piece and it's about serving it with style. Thankfully, these Perth restaurants have done the hard work for you…

The Trustee Bar and Bistro can be found on the central St George's Terrace in the Majestic WA Trustee Building – right in the heart of Perth's CBD. Open since 2012, this award-winning venue has cemented itself as one of Perth's favourites, with locals loving the eclectic style and varied seating options.

The downstairs bistro bustles with warmth and vibrancy and is the ideal hangout for a long leisurely lunch or an intimate dinner. Upstairs is a lighter, brighter bistro that offers a more relaxed environment. It's here where you'll also find the exciting new Angel's Cut Rum Bar, which stocks over 300 rums, bespoke cocktails and moreish snack food. There's even a lush garden bar!

But aside from all this, The Trustee is a winner simply for their Grill, which serves up a choice of free range pork cutlet, aged black angus sirloin or chateaubriand steak for two.
